Call for Papers: Georgetown University Critical Theory Journal

OUR AIM
Founded in 2005, The Georgetown University Critical Theory Journal is an electronic journal published annually by the university’s Critical Theory Society. The Critical Theory Journal provides a forum for undergraduates and graduate students to share work with peers and gain experience in publishing academic writing. The journal fosters interdisciplinary synergy and is a unique convergence of student writing in the areas of contemporary critical literary, economic, historical, philosophical, aesthetic, political and social thought. Volumes one and two are available at our website (listed below).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Submissions may concern critical theory broadly construed. Topics may include, but are not limited to, literary criticism, postmodernism, (post)Marxism, queer theory, feminism, poststructuralism, postcolonialism, deconstruction, and psychoanalysis.
- Submissions should be in English, clearly written, and precise.
- Authors should include a cover page listing: name, title of submission, institution, expected graduation year, field of study, a phone number, and e-mail address.
- Papers should be suitable for blind review, containing no identification of either the author or their institution apart from the cover sheet.
- Papers must be under 25 pages, double spaced, and conform to the Chicago Manual of Style (humanities with footnotes). Only submissions conforming to these requirements will be considered.
- Papers must be submitted as .doc or .rtf files to criticaltheoryjournal@gmail.com by November 3, 2008.
