Conference on the Boundaries of Citizenship

I am pleased to announce the Wayne State University Center for the Study of Citizenship’s Fifth Annual Conference in Citizenship Studies: Boundaries. The conference will be held at the McGregor Conference Center in Detroit, Michigan, March 27-29th.

Plenary speakers include:

Frank H. Wu, Dean, Wayne State University Law School at 7 p.m. on March 27th

Michael Hardt, Professor of Literature, Duke University, and the Center’s Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, March 28th.

Linda Bosniak, Professor of Law, Rutgers University School of Law at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 28th.

Sherman Jackson, Professor of Islamic Studies, University of Michigan on Saturday, March 29th at 10:45 a.m.

Special panel sessions on Friday and Saturday afternoon will be devoted to new books by Peter Spiro and Peter Linebaugh.
